The house was lovely and in a good position for the pool. It’s a good location for the restaurants and small shops. The beach is beautiful and worth visiting. A second set of keys would have been helpful especially for the compound gate and pool area. The booking process was easy and our damage deposit was returned promptly.

The property was in an ideal position for the beach and amenities were a 15 minute walk .Close to shops, bars and restaurants and the bus and Tourist Train stopped at end of the street. The Communal Pool was absolutely superb - it would put some hotels to shame! And was very close to the villa.  The rooftop terrace was excellent,  very private with good views around. All in all an excellent property for a nice quiet holiday. The Property Manager, Melinda, is brilliant - nothing too much trouble and quick response to any calls.

Well presented accommodation with everything you could ever need with amenities a short distance away including bus stop. Melinda was very nice and the accommodation was clean when we arrived and as we left Melinda came in to do the laundry and cleaning for the next occupants which was nice to see and proved they do as they say. Our holiday was thoroughly enjoyable and would definitely stay here again.

We had a great 2 weeks stay, weather was fantastic. Lovely large roof terrace for sunbathing, villa had everything you could need, even plenty of English TV channels for the evenings when you just wanted to chill after a day on the beautiful Carabassi beach. We used the road train a lot and also the number 3 bus on the beach road that takes you into Alicante for €1.50. This was our 6th holiday in Gran Alacant and the 1st time we have used Alicante Holiday Villas, we would definitely book through them again.

Very clean property. Mark was great with all the information needed and Melinda the keyholder was more than helpful, lets you get on with your holiday but only a text or call away if needed. Nice roof terrace for sun bathing and good pool for residents and guests to use. Gates at top and bottom of the street which gives added security. So overall a very good holiday.

Thanks again Melinda. Gran Alacant is great for a relaxing holiday and you will feel very safe there. Lovely beach within walking distance. Bars and restaurants are just two minutes walk from house.

When booking the villa I found Mark very helpful, also providing useful information. So was Graham who met us at the villa, answering various questions and offering an insight into what was available around Gran Alacant. The property is very close to a selection of good, reasonably priced restaurants and bars, plus a couple of convenience stores. It was an easy walk to the larger supermarkets (or you can use the train or local bus) and this took about 20/25 minutes. For our tastes we found the DialPrix the best one.The bus stop to Alicante or Santa Pola is a about a 10/15 minute walk from the villa, so it was easy to visit both places.

I had an excellent 10 days in Gran Alacant with Alicante Holiday Villas. From beginning to end the holiday was easy and good value for money. The website shows the properties well so you can pick the one that suits. The booking process was smooth and it was great that Alicante Holiday Villas was flexible on dates and arrangements. The town in close to the airport so there aren't long transfers required. Although it's a new purpose built town, there is a settled international community with a friendly atmosphere. My area had everything I needed so I didn't move around that much. Alicante is a short taxi ride away and a lovely city. A marina, picturesque old quarter and good nightlife - lots of partying without the drunken rowdy crowd you'd get in Britain. The house was clean and comfortable and stocked with everything I needed. The beach is clean and sandy and safe. Even in October the sea was warm. All properties have a communal pool very nearby which are a good size and well maintained.

It was our second visit to this villa and we loved it again. The proximity to the pool is perfect - about a 30 second walk. So good, we only bothered with the beach on one morning. The roof terrace gets sun all day, great for catching some midday sun whilst the kids watch TV in the shade. A great quiet spot for families, made more lively by the locals, especially during fiestas, with some nice restaurants a short walk away.

The keyholder was very welcoming, friendly and helpful. We will definitely hire a car next time! The main supermarkets seemed an age away. The beach is quite close by, but with a nice pool (which was very clean and enjoyed very much by our 2 year old!) just 30 seconds away we didn't have to make too much effort to get to some water for a swim. We wished we had booked the villa for a couple of weeks instead! Thank you all for your help in booking and organising everything.

This was our first time to book a holiday to this part of Spain and through Alicante Holiday Villas and it was a very positive experience from start to finish. Alicante Holiday Villas was extremely professional and helpful throughout the booking process and answered all queries very promptly. The property was very comfortable and clean and exactly as described on the website. The keyholder was very helpful and friendly. It was a good location and we felt that it suited our needs perfectly (2 adults and one 2 and a half yr old) looking for a relaxing break. For access to supermarkets (apart from small local one) a car would be preferable. We found that it was very easy to hire one locally, within 5 mins of the house. We would recommend Alicante Holiday Villas unreservedly and look forward to booking further holidays through Alicante Holiday Villas in the not too distant future!

We visited Gran Alacant during March which was our first time in this area. Gran Alacant is relatively a new town with established developments and new buildings being erected mainly on the outskirts of the town, we found the area very clean with adequate facilities and about 10 minutes walk to the beach. We hired a car for the week which was a bonus if you wanted to shop at any of the larger supermarkets in the area which was a five minute drive from the property, and 15 minutes easy drive to and from the airport which I also thought was a big advantage. Alicante town is a splendid place to spend a day, Benidorm a little further along the coast and a very good bus service from Gran Alacant to either one. The property we stayed in was extremely clean, spacious with a nice roof terrace and next to the swimming pool, a short walk away from a small supermarket, restaurants and bars. It was quiet during our week in March but I understand during July and August it livens up a little. I would recommend this property for couples and small families, and Alicante Holiday Villas for an excellent service and website. One recommendation would be to try and rent a property at the bottom area of Gran Alacant, where this property is situated, it saves walking up a steep hill known to the locals as " cardiac hill"!
