This is a lovely apartment and we could not fault it. Everything was as described and met our expectations. Happy we had a safe and a beautiful roof terrace. There is a guest information book in the apartment which was very useful. Pools were great - they were nice and cool on some days which was great as it was a very hot time of year.

We spent a month here in February and found the apartment met most of our needs and expectations. The location is fantastic with bars, restaurants, a lovely Spanish bakery and supermarket within easy walking distance. The weather was not as warm as we have experienced before in February but when it was sunny the roof solarium was fantastic. The apartment was very well equipped, the heating worked well, we had as much hot water as we wanted and an excellent TV package. Overall our experience was very positive and we would recommend this apartment and Alicante Holiday Villas who are very experienced and competent.

We have stayed in Gran Alacant many times and this property continued our love of the area. The property was extremely close to the pool and bars/restaurants. The accommodation itself was clean and tidy allowing us to enjoy ourselves once again, with the added bonus of English TV for that down time. The roof terrace was a great sun trap and a lovely place to eat on with great views of the mountains. Overall another great holiday in a great place.

The accommodation was great, really comfortable, modern and well equipped. An issue we had with the fridge freezer was resolved quickly by the homeowner who supplied a brand new replacement the next day. We loved the location, with its choice of pools and a great selection of bars and restaurants close by. We stayed in this apartment for almost 2 months in January & February 2021. As so many reviewers have said in the past this apartment is fantastic, we too loved it. The owners have taken great care to ensure every need is catered for, we wanted for nothing. We had some cold days but the apartment keeps nice and warm. We used the solarium on many warm days. Comfortable bed, good linen, well stocked modern kitchen and plenty of hot water for showers. Lots of good walking locally and within a 30 minute drive. We shall book again.

I have used Alicante Holiday Villas quite a few times now and this is the 4th time I have stayed in this particular property. It is extremely clean and well cared for and the furnishings, towels, bed-linen are all of a good quality - you will want for nothing as everything has been thought of. There is a great little supermarket just a short 5-minute walk away, you will also pass the pharmacy on the way (which hopefully you won't need) and then 5 minutes in the opposite direction, you will find a decent selection of bars and restaurants. It's nice and quiet as there is no passing traffic, so you will be able to completely zone out and relax on the lovely roof terrace. I wouldn't hesitate to stay at this property again and will certainly be using Alicante Holiday Villas in the future, their efficiency and knowledge is second-to-none!

Couldn't fault the accommodation - apartment is good size, well laid out internally, little balcony which is perfect for breakfast leading to a staircase up onto the terrace - which is a great size, well kitted out with everything you need. Air-con was a god-send, and it was in lounge and bedrooms which was perfect. Good Wi-Fi coverage. The only thing that might be a consideration for some is that as its a 1st floor apartment, there are a good number of steps up to the front door - plus steep set up to terrace. This may be an issue for some - thankfully it wasn't for us. Had a brilliant stay - if we were going back to the area again we would definitely go back to this apartment!

First time we have stayed in Gran Alacant although we are familiar with the area. The apartment exceeded our expectations especially the fabulous roof terrace, the weather was nice enough on one of our afternoons to lay out on the sunbeds for a couple of hours...in February! There is everything you could need in the apartment and more (DVDs, books, a BBQ on the roof terrace) and the location is great too with shops, bars and restaurants a short walk away. Having said that the gated community with 3 lovely pools was lovely and peaceful in both the day and evening. We didn't visit the beach on this trip, it being February, but it was a 2 minute drive in the car or you can get the bus or the cute road train very easily. We can't wait to return!

This apartment was a great find. A little more expensive than others but well worth spending a little extra. On arrival it was spotlessly clean. The solarium was where we spent a lot of time and had a couple of BBQs. The communal pool is just a few steps away. Local shops, bars and restaurants are a couple of minutes walk. The tourist land train and circular route bus are excellent to get around on, including the superb Carabassi beach. Highly recommended.

My friend and I stayed in this accommodation for one week in early May. We both commented on the good quality of the furnishings, towels, bedding etc and how tastefully furnished the property is. There is also a very comprehensive information manual which you will find very useful; we still found it to be so, even though we have holidayed in Gran Alacant many times before. There is everything that you need in the apartment and it is in a perfect location i.e. really near to one of the 3 pools (you can see it from the front terrace area) and to a nice selection of bars and restaurants. It's also really quiet with no busy traffic or residential noise.The beach is absolutely stunning and well worth a visit; you can catch the land train there and back. You can walk there, but be very prepared for the steep walk back! Finally, the booking process - excellent, professional service throughout the whole process. On my return to work, I found the email confirming return of the security deposit had beat me back to work! I would highly recommend using Mark and the team at Alicante Holiday Villas for a seamless, easy holiday booking.

R GAY - January to April 2017
Firstly I would like to thank Mark on his communications and excellent service whilst booking & later when we were in the property. It was a bit of a fact finding exercise for us as we are thinking of buying a property in Spain. We decided to go in January for 3 months having been plenty of times in summer and wanted to experience a Spanish winter. The property has just about everything you could want even shopping bags and most importantly a bottle opener. We found the location very good for our needs. Within easy reach of some nice bars and restaurants. It's a fair walk to the Gran Alacant commercial centre about 15/20 minutes downhill. There are two supermarkets much closer plus a British mini-market, handy but a little expensive. We loved the natural beach especially the coast road to Santa Pola (nice walk about 2.5 hours). Lots of walks near the accommodation, very popular with mountain bikers.

We have stayed at this apartment 4 times and would do so again as everything about Alicante Holiday Villas continues to be first class in every aspect. This includes the ease of the booking process to the help and professionalism of the lovely people running this business. From the location to the quality and cleanliness of the apartment it cannot honestly be faulted unless you are completely pedantic. A car is beneficial however local transport is very good particularly for getting into Alicante and Santa Pola. We would question anyone who was not happy staying here - simply top dollar.

To put a star rating on this accommodation it would have to be five star plus, it was like walking into a hotel suite, everything was there, and the welcome pack was better than expected. Then you get a sunroof with sun from dawn till dusk, should you need a break to cool down all rooms apart from kitchen have fans and air-con all remote controlled, what more could you ask? Well there are local supermarkets, shops and bars with food, the local tourist train runs every hour and takes you to the beach, large supermarkets, and weekly markets. One last thing my security deposit was back in my account the day after my return where else would you get service like that? We will be back.

This is an excellent property but may not be suitable for four adults. We traveled as a couple and found it to our needs. We particularly enjoyed the rooftop sun terrace and the air conditioning was nice to return to. All equipment and furnishings were to a high standard. The provision of beach umbrellas was an unexpected bonus. The area, although quite built-up, was quiet. There are plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. The tourist train is good value at 3 Euro per round trip and the frequency of the local bus service means you are not stood waiting in the glorious, though sometimes overbearing, sunshine. I would not hesitate to recommend Alicante Holiday Villas and this property.

Have just spent an excellent 7 nights in this fantastic apartment. From start to finish everything has been great. The apartment was spotlessly clean, well furnished and comfortable beds. The roof terrace was where we spent most of our days with a few visits to the very close by pool. There are bars and restaurants within a few minutes walk, La Piedra was a favourite. We took the land train to the main commercial centre a couple of times where we found Get Fresh and La Matola both very good restaurants. We recommend both this apartment and Gran Alacant.

Have just returned from a fantastic holiday. I found the booking process seamless, the apartment is just as described, fantastic attention to detail. The resort is quiet, however this is what we were looking for, we managed to keep our two young kids entertained with no problems. We ate in different place every night, food always good quality and value for money with plenty of choice. We had a small issue with the safe, we phoned the keyholder and it was sorted straight away. The apartment is very secure with excellent air-con. The English supermarket is very expensive, it is well worth walking a little bit further to the Spanish supermarket, much better value and plenty of choice. The beach is lovely. The sun terrace is an added bonus. You have the use of three pools, one being two doors from the apartment, again lovely. Last but not least the free Wi-Fi was very fast, it coped with multiple use with no buffering. Very good selection of English channels on the TV.

The apartment was actually very nice. Both bedrooms are a good enough size for a family of four, and the living room area / dining table is spot on. I thought the kitchen was a touch on the small side, but we ate out pretty much every night anyway, as there were several lovely places to eat within walking distance. The terrace and the fact that the shared pool is literally on your doorstep made the property. The beach / sea are lovely, but you do have to get the land train really, which is quite fun to be honest. Overall, a very enjoyable two weeks.

We were impressed by the modern furnishings and layout, this may have been the nicest place we've ever stayed. The kitchen was good, so was the bathroom, the Wi-Fi was excellent (very important to us with a business to run back at home). The whole place was well suited to our needs, with two teenage boys; close enough to the local shops and eating places plus bus stops to get around. Contact with the property manager was quick and polite, everything was explained well and easy to follow.

This was our second visit. A very clean, comfortable and modern apartment with all you need for a long or short stay. The free Wi-Fi is a particular bonus as many apartments in the area do not offer this. The balcony and roof terrace makes breakfast and relaxing an absolute pleasure whilst the communal pool is on the doorstep. The people at Alicante Holiday Villas made the whole experience completely seamless and are to be congratulated for making our holiday superb. Gran Alacant is a very pleasant and quiet area but with plenty of bars and good restaurants on offer. With a car it is very easy to reach the wonderful beaches, the city of Alicante and the large town of Santa Pola. Even without a vehicle all of these places are easily accessible through either the local bus system or the Gran Alacant tourist train. This is definitely an apartment we will book again. Five star Plus.

Everything, from the first contact to Alicante Holiday Villas through booking, directions and arrival was smooth and easy. The apartment was in excellent condition, spotlessly clean and the kitchen was fully equipped with whatever we could wish for. The area was nice and quiet, the beach is fantastic! The pool was nice and very clean - only thing to consider is that there are some restrictions about jumping, no floating devices etc, The restrictions are reasonable and necessary, though, as it prevents too much nosily behaviour...and if you want to jump and shout - there´s the beach nearby! We highly recommend staying here!

The property is very well laid out. The quality of the finish in all rooms is very good. The kitchen equipment was more than adequate for a family of four for 12 days. Lovely apartment with all mod cons - English TV and Wi-Fi were a real bonus! Decor is modern and tasteful. Pool is only 30 seconds walk and a selection of bars and restaurants are 5 minutes. There are a couple of good restaurants in Sierra Mar which is a short 15 minute walk (La Paletta and Patagonia were our favourites!). We used the Towel Service, ordered a Welcome Pack and hired some baby items - all were delivered on time, were present and correct and good value.

The location was exactly as we expected and we didn't have any problem finding it. The pool was nice and not crowded. The nearest beach was fantastic with lots of space, clear and warm water. Possibility to make long walks along the seaside. Good price shops at short distance and fresh bread every morning just around the corner. Great place to stay for a calm holiday with a lot of bathing in the pool or the sea.

Wonderful from start to finish! So easy to book and pay and got the deposit back as soon as we got home. Accommodation was great, clean and spacious with a handy coffee machine. The area is great with a pool two doors away. Supermarket two minutes away and plenty of restaurants at good prices. The land train in Gran Alacant is fab to get around. Trip worth taking is to Tabarca Island and go snorkelling, there are so many fish to see. All in all a great location, accommodation and I would love to go back.

From our first email to Mark about the apartment, Mark replied straight away and with any other questions I had. From the taxi pickup at the airport to collecting the keys from the safe everything was spot on. The security deposit was in my bank account a day after returning home. The apartment is of a high standard which we would book again. The roof top solarium was great for sunbathing and being able to just pop downstairs for iced drinks was great. The area around the apartment felt safe day and night and the neighbours were friendly, the swimming pool only a few doors away was kept clean and great for a morning swim but the larger pool had more room around for sunbathing. Shops, bars and restaurants only minutes away. Take the land train or local bus to the Gran Alacant commercial centre for a fab curry at the Gallery restaurant. We also took the bus to Santa Pola and had tapas near the harbour and looked at the boats before walking along the promenade. Thank you Mark, we will book with Alicante Holiday Villas again.

My wife and I had 3 wonderful weeks in property 461, Gran Alacant. The property is located in a quiet area, but yet central, regarding shopping, restaurants, bus stops and swimming pools. The roof terrace was a must, with a nice view and some very comfortable sun loungers. We spent most of the day there, with warm and sunny weather and good food. The location is also very suitable for jogging and walking, if anybody likes to have some exercise during the stay.

Thank you very much for making our holiday as easy as possible we all had a lovely time and didn't want to come home. A week certainly was not long enough for us. We really enjoyed our holiday at this apartment. The kids loved the pool, and the keyholders were always very helpful, they gave us local information about the markets etc and directions to anywhere we needed to go. We hired a car which was very useful for us to allow us to shop at the bigger supermarkets rather than the smaller shops and more expensive supermarkets. Santa Pola beach is lovely and just 10 mins by car. Alicante is not far away either. The land train is lots of fun to go on, and takes you round all of Gran Alacant (which is very big). There is a lovely restaurant called Phoenix Nights which is down near Gran Alacant beach and very reasonably priced. The kids loved it there, and you can get there by the train. All in all a lovely holiday, I would recommend it to friends and family and we would book again with Alicante Holiday Villas.

Location was perfect for the smaller shops and bars nearby (5 mins walk), but still far enough off the main road to be quiet and relaxing. Lovely views from balcony and private roof terrace. We decided to hire a car from Alicante Airport and to be honest we would highly recommend one if you plan on shopping at the larger supermarkets and for visiting the beach as they are quite a trek on foot. We had a last minute booking and I was concerned that the documentation would not arrive. I was worrying needlessly as the prompt and efficient booking service you provide worked perfectly. The informative website gave us an insight to the area and beyond. This allowed us to use the days to maximum benefit! The directions provided were first class. The apartment was spotless and I cannot commend the keyholders more highly. Friendly and helpful, even offering to give us a lift to the supermarket or get our shopping, as we did not have a car. They made our stay even more enjoyable as they made us feel at home. The restaurant they recommended, 'Cocoa', was great fun. We had a great time, much of this was due to the quality of the apartment. The owners obviously take great care of the property, which makes a stay so enjoyable. We liked the leaflets on the kitchen notice board that gave us a few ideas to look up or visit. Although with great weather and that fantastic roof terrace it was hard to leave!! Apartment v. comfy. TV system worked well. Able to sleep c/o the aircon and ceiling fans! Roof terrace - the best bit late evening where you catch any breeze there is. Restaurants - bit of a hike to find any Spanish food, but the Dunbars and La Palma were very good. Good pools, Diane next door friendly & helpful. The beach road from Gran Alacant to Santa Pola is worth mentioning as is the lovely promenade walk into Santa Pola. Easy trip into Alicante which we loved as a city. Recommendations for tapas and fish restaurants would be nice, but we found some off La Ramblas. All in all a comfortable and enjoyable stay, would certainly recommend it to anyone who didn’t mind all the English places! Thanks again
