The eagerly-awaited new Ryanair flights from Aberdeen are now up and running.

The twice weekly flights to Alicante began this week with direct flights costing from just £24.00 per person one way. Flights to Alicante will operate on Thursdays and Sundays, which means you can take advantage of Alicante Holiday Villas flexible bookings for all their holiday villas and holiday apartments in Alicante. The flights to Alicante will run throughout the summer until October 2017. If the flights prove successful and popular with customers, Ryanair will extend them to all year round. Managing Director of Aberdeen airport, Carol Benzie, said: “We’ve been eagerly anticipating the arrival of Ryanair to the airport since we announced this fantastic new route last July and I’m delighted to welcome the airline back to the North-east after a 6 year hiatus. The route is particularly exciting for us, as Alicante was the most requested destinations in a leisure survey we carried out with the local community early last year. So it is brilliant to know that Aberdeen holidaymakers can now easily reach their favourite destinations direct from their local airport, without the inconvenience of long car journeys or multiple flights. Furthermore, with two flights to Alicante each week, passengers have the choice of either a short 3 day getaway or a longer break in the sun.”
