The ongoing works on the Gran Alacant bridge over the N332 enters their final stage this week, with minor diversions affecting the N332 at Gran Alacant.

This latest stage of renovations, which begin on 18th April 2016, will be split into 2 parts, which will operate over the next 4-5 weeks and will involve traffic detours.
Gran Alacant Bridge Repairs – Diversions
Traffic flowing in the direction of Alicante will be diverted off the N332 main road onto what is normally the slip road for the petrol station at Gran Alacant, which will allow workers to renovate the bridge section directly above the Alicante bound carriageway of the N332. The traffic heading towards Santa Pola remains unaffected, other than by speed restrictions. This should last for 2 weeks.
Once the second half of the works begin, the existing Alicante bound diversion will remain, but Santa Pola bound traffic will be moved over onto the Alicante bound side of the N332 to allow the repairs to continue on the bridge above the Santa Pola bound lane. This should last for 3 weeks.
