This ecological project was created by a group of surfers to send the message to make people think about the environmental importance of keeping our oceans clean by creating fantastic art sculptures from waste collected from the beaches that the sea have washed up such as flip flops, cans, plastic bags etc. These incredible works of art are on display in the Volvo Ocean Race Village in Alicante.

In Alicante, the Keep The Oceans Clean team will be holding a Community Beach Clean on Postiguet Beach in Alicante on Wednesday 26th of October, with Workshops at the Alicante Volvo Ocean Race village between 29th October – 4th November. Keep The Ocean Clean will also be leading beach cleans at all 10 Host Ports that will be visited by the Volvo Ocean Race.

The Skeleton Sea exhibition at the Volvo Ocean Race Village in Alicante features six of their sculptures, the new Abyss, the Roxy Mermaid and the Cold blooded Horse are on display in the main entrance tent.
