What a fantastic property with everything you need for a holiday. We were about 2 minutes walk away from a good supermarket and the bus stops to Alicante and Santa Pola a 5 minute walk away. We had our 17 year son with us and the facilities suited all of us especially having our own pool. I couldn't recommend this property enough.

Have stayed in this property previously. Fantastic location. Very near to supermarket and restaurants. Only 10-15 minutes from Alicante Airport and about 5 minute walk from the bus stop and Tourist Train stop. Very clean apartment with all the home comforts you will need. The air conditioning was a godsend. The pool was lovely to cool off in. We had lunch on the terrace every day, looking out on the pool and flowers. The booking process was easy and we received confirmation that our deposit would be returned the day after we got home, thanks. We ate at Zest a few times, very friendly staff. We also ate at Patagonia and La Paletta, all within a 5 minute walk away.

Well where to start? Lovely villa, so private, fantastically clean and lovely location. We struggle to find anything negative about this villa, would have been nice to have a dish washer just with being on holiday. The plastic glasses to be used around pool area looked brand new, so clean, little things like this make you think it well looked after! Fantastic host in Guy, very knowledgeable of area and quick to answer any queries. Would recommend to others and will definitely be returning for another stay.

Thanks again to the owners and and Alicante Holiday Villas for another lovely stay. We have lost count of the times we have stayed in this property. It must be at least 15 times over the last 12 years. Each time our deposit has been refunded promptly and every time we have spoken to Mark from Alicante Holiday Villas he has been more than helpful. The accommodation is in a fantastic location. We have never hired a car but there is a Tourist Train that takes you down to the Commercial Centre and the stop is about a 3/4 minute walk away. The pool was lovely and the weather was brilliant. There is a large supermarket approx 2 minutes walk away and there are bars and restaurants approx 5 minutes walk away although the accommodation is in a residential area. We went to La Piedra for the first time and would recommend their set menu, 3 courses and a drink for €14.95. My husband loved the steak on the stone. Well worth a try. Also try Cocoas for their pizza. It’s the best we've ever tasted. It’s a bit of a trek up the hill but they also deliver. The owners were fantastic hosts and made us feel really welcome. We have already booked again for next year.

The villa is superb and a very relaxing place to stay in, it was perfect for our needs, we stayed with our 8 Yr old grandson and the pool was perfect. The villa was clean and a great size, the supermarket is really close like 1 minute away, the bars are just around the corner and even better bars a 5min walk up to Dunbars. Guy, the Property Manager, was fantastic, what a nice man and so so helpful, thank you so much for letting us stay in these difficult times, we loved it!!!

Just had a 10 day holiday at this lovely apartment - so private had everything we needed, clean beautiful pool and seating areas. The supermarket was really close which was a added bonus. The bars, restaurants and bus routes were close by very easy for getting around and the owners were so helpful - you couldn’t ask for two nicer people! They went out of their way to get what we needed from the supermarket on arrival as it was Sunday and most of them were shut. Thank you so much, a lovely couple and appreciate all you did we would definitely book again.

It was our second visit to the villa and once again it was absolutely fantastic. In the villa both the kitchen and bedrooms have been modernised and upgraded since our last visit and look very good. Outside the sun loungers now have very comfortable cushions while the pool area is quite simply the perfect area to relax, paradise!!! Out and about there are lots of places to eat and drink that are all very accessible on foot or by use of the bus or tourist train. There is a detailed map and bus/train timetables in the villa. Some of the restaurants should not be missed, especially La Paletta which is stunning and only a 5 minute walk away. For days out both Alicante and Santa Pola are both worth a visit and very close. The bus service is very regular and reliable and will only cost you 3 euros for 2 people to either of the above. Once again Guy was first class and nothing was too much trouble - you couldn’t wish to meet a nicer person. His knowledge and recommendations about the area were all spot on. Even running us back to the airport on our last day when he was busy and tight for time. We would not hesitate to book again and we’ll more than likely do so for next year. Top class villa in a beautiful place!!!!

Just my wife and I stayed and it was perfect. The pool absolutely perfect, the villa and and everything else in it was clean and perfect. It’s a 5 min walk to the shops and restaurants and the little supermarket is across the road. Guy, the Property Manager, was 1st class; very helpful and friendly. The property was very clean; the TV had more channels than I expected; there were very nice personal touches inside and outside the property which give a more homely feel, whereas most holiday properties have the bare minimum. Unide supermarket is close to the property and provides the vast majority of provisions for a holiday; Cielo Largo Asian restaurant alongside the supermarket had excellent food including take aways and are very friendly.

The apartment was very private considering its location. The pool is plenty big enough for two teenagers to splash around in (a godsend on hot days) and the communal pool is two minutes away for anyone wanting to swim lengths etc. Enough sun loungers and outside seating for four and a cool shaded dining area. The keyholder Guy was there to meet us on arrival and advised we could contact him at any time during our stay if we needed to. We would not hesitate to book again based upon this holiday experience.

Absolutely fantastic holiday we were met on our arrival by Guy who was a wonderful host and could not have been more helpful having exceptional knowledge of the surrounding area. He also ran us back to the airport for our return flight which was very much appreciated. The villa, as described, was a hidden gem very clean and private and the pool was outstanding sitting in a garden that was bathed in sunshine from morning till night. Gran Alacant was perfect for us as we were looking for a relaxing 10 days mixed with a few days out. The area has little pockets of bars and restaurants all very accessible by using the tourist train or just walking around. The supermarket, Unide, was less than 3 minutes walk from the villa, well stocked and very cheap. The larger Mercadona was easy to get to using the train. Alicante and Santa Pola were both very easy to get to using the local bus service. The bus stop for both only 5 minutes walk and at 3 euros each way for 2 people this was very good value for money. This was very relaxing from start to finish and we can't wait to go back.

Good accommodation set in a beautiful well maintained garden. The pool and outdoor shower were a welcome place to cool down and relax after a day's sightseeing. The nearby restaurants La Paletta and Patagonia steakhouse were both excellent. We visited Santa Pola and Tabarca where we had a lovely lunch at El Rincon. Facilities for 4 adults were good with plenty of outdoor space to each find a spot to relax. We would definitely return here.

This property is fantastic if you want privacy - the private pool is great and the whole apartment was sufficient for our needs - you are really close to the supermarket and local restaurants and the train round Gran Alicante is great for looking round the area in the heat! This is the loveliest apartment we have stayed in. It's a home from home but better. We could not fault the property, the gardens are beautiful and very private - there was really no need to step outside your garden area. The pool was great and was very clean. Guy the keyholder was very helpful and took us to the supermarket on arrival which was much appreciated. Nothing was too much trouble. You can tell that the owners have put a lot of thought and love into the property- it's fabulous! We love the area - the bus service and tourist train make getting around really easy and there are plenty of shops nearby and a good number of reasonably priced bars and restaurants. We can't wait to go back!

This apartment is absolutely superb. The owners have created an oasis of tranquillity where you can totally cut yourself off from the outside world. The apartment itself has everything that you need and is very comfortable but the jewel is the outside space - the verandah, garden and private pool. A gem!

The apartment was exactly as described on the website. There was obvious care taken in choices of decoration in the garden as well as in the accommodation. We really loved the pool although small was big enough to swim lengths and also deep in one end too. The garden was surrounded by a high white wall with two lovely palm trees which made it easy to spot when you are in a cab coming home after a night out. The bedrooms both have new air con and beds are comfortable. With the blinds down it is quite dark and can be hard to get up in the morning! There is a good size flat screen TV in the living room plus a radio /CD player. The kitchen is small but contains all you need including a washing machine. There is also a supermarket just over the road so easy to buy a few beers, bread etc. Plus there is a good Scandinavian restaurant next to the supermarket and various other restaurants near the apartment. The beach is a bit of a hike on foot coming back up a hill. There are good bus connections though and a road train which gets you down the hill for three euros. A taxi into Alicante will cost about 25 euros. We loved the place and our holiday. Will definitely book again.

What a gem!! From the moment we stepped through the gate we were amazed by how clean, spacious and tranquil the villa and gardens were. There is a supermarket literally a stone's throw from the villa itself and bars/restaurants are just a short stroll away in the neighbouring complex. We caught the land train down to Carabassi beach one day, which again was a simple and short trip. We didn't hire a car but what with being only a 15 minute taxi ride from the airport and having all you need within walking distance, we didn't miss having one. You really can't go wrong with hiring this villa - it was perfect for our short stay (3 adults for 4 nights) and I wouldn't hesitate to book it again if returning to the area. The gardens and pool area were beautiful and so private. The villa itself has everything you might need and is more than spacious enough. There's plenty of seating in the gardens, as well as sunbeds and a lovely al fresco terrace for eating in the shade. I have to give special mention to Guy, the keyholder. He was super accommodating and really made us feel welcome. Our flight arrived at Alicante just after 10am and although check-in shouldn't have been until 3pm he was more than happy for us to head straight to the villa and drop off our bags while he carried on with cleaning after the previous guests had checked out that morning. We were also able to stay until lunchtime on departure day as our flight wasn't until 3.30pm and Guy even offered us a lift to the airport to save getting a taxi! What a nice man - please pass on our thanks! So overall I would definitely recommend staying here and would say it was superb value for money!

The location is fantastic with a well stocked supermarket less than 1 minute walk away. There are also bars and restaurants within a 5 minute walk. We went to Dunbars which had been shut on previous years. The ribs were fantastic. Never had ribs with so much meat on them. Also had the set menu. Fab. Give it a try. We chose the apartment because it had its own pool for our daughter and this property didn't disappoint. There is a well-stocked supermarket 30 seconds walk away.Taxi from the airport was €20 as we didn't hire a car. A couple of good restaurants in the urbanisation next door along with a couple of bars which was a 5 minute walk away. It's opposite the apartment but you have to use the main gate which is a 5 minute walk. The property had a washing machine, iron and ironing board so don't over pack.TV with lots of English channels which was good for us as we had a small child who was in bed early so we were in most nights. DVD player with some English films already there and comfy sofas to relax on. There is air conditioning in the bedrooms but we didn’t need it, along with ceiling fans. There is a safe for valuables. Moving outside there is a BBQ on the patio which we used twice, a lovely separate veranda with 2 comfy loungers on for an afternoon snooze in the shade. Around the pool is another patio area with more tables and chairs, and 2 more sun loungers. Santa Pola which is a 10 minute bus ride away was lovely along with the Carabassi beach which is at the bottom of the hill. You can walk to the beach in 10 minutes but get the bus or land train back up the hill. We couldn't fault the apartment.

My partner and I have just returned from staying 6 nights here. We received a great and friendly welcome from Martin who told and showed us the ropes of the property and then left us to enjoy our holiday. The place was perfect, sometimes we had a barbecue after buying necessities from the supermarket which was a 2 minute walk or at one of the restaurants around Gran Alacant. The location of the local bus (#3) and tourist land train train (to beaches) was great for a few hours out of our lazy days by the pool to see Alicante. I can't rate this property highly enough. I was holidaying alone and felt very safe. As soon as you walk through the gate into the garden area it's like walking in to a little piece of heaven - so calm and clean. For me this area was just a dream. Being able to walk a few steps to "my own" pool area was fantastic. The accommodation itself was lovely, extremely clean and perfect for up to 4 people. Having English channels on the TV was a bonus as was the CD player which I used during the day. It was 28 degrees when I was there, so I did use the ceiling fans at night. Kitchen facilities were excellent; there was everything you needed to cook a 3 course meal! I was met at the property by Martin who is extremely friendly. He showed me around the apartment, pointed out places to shop, eat and how to get around etc and emphasised should I have any issues that I should not hesitate to contact him. This was very reassuring. I would have no hesitation in booking this property again. Thank you everyone for making my break in Gran Alacant one to remember.

This was our 5th trip back to the same accommodation. We were met at the airport by Martin like an old friend and made to feel really welcome. The apartment was spotlessly clean; we couldn't fault it, thanks. We had a problem with the pool on the second day and the key holders, Martin and Mark couldn't have done more to help us. They really put themselves out far and beyond what we expected and resolved the problem in a couple of days. The accommodation itself is in a fabulous location. About 2 minutes from the supermarket and 5 minutes away from bars and restaurant but was so quiet both during the day and at night. We took the tourist land train back up the hill after walking down to Phoenix restaurant a few times. I really enjoyed that, I really must grow up!! We love the place so much we have booked to return later this year and again next year. It's just so relaxing after a stressful few months at work.

I booked this property owing to location we did not want to hire a car and wanted to be central to all amenities this property did just that. We met the keyholders who very kindly took us for drinks and were absolutely charming. I am used to holidaying in a more remote part of Spain and this location hit the spot, we did not need a car we got on local buses the tourist land train was brill fun. The supermarket, local market on Thursdays and the restaurants were all good. There is a small Spanish restaurant up the road and their tapas were excellent and my daughter got her longed for grilled squid which was excellent value. The property has a lovely cared for garden with a small pool but certainly large enough for me and my 2 adult daughters. Martin (the keyholder) was extremely kind and attentive you wouldn't think he did the job all year round, nothing was too much trouble and when I rang Mark (the other keyholder) I got the same service. Well done and thank you all for making our holiday experience so enjoyable!

The booking process was really easy and the man that I spoke to was really helpful and pleasant. On arriving in Alicante, we were met by Martin who is such a lovely man, very chatty and gave us some handy tips on places to go. The apartment was spotless and improvements had been made since last time we were there. An outside shower had been installed which made showering before entering the pool much nicer. The sunbed mattresses had also been replaced and were thicker and more comfortable. Wi-Fi has also been installed, however not sure if it's a good thing as spent quite a lot of time answering work emails! The location was excellent with a supermarket less than a minutes’ walk away. Bars and restaurants can be easily accessed within 5 minutes. We took the tourist train on a number of occasions down to Molly Malone’s; the ribs are worth a try, 10 euros for 2 racks of ribs. Overall we love the apartment and will definitely return for our 5th trip. Thanks for a lovely holiday and the prompt refund of our deposit.

Just returned from Alicante. We had a great week at the apartment. The pool and apartment far exceeded our expectations. All amenities are within walking distance although the apartment is still peaceful. The tourist train was an excellent way to get around, with a very cheery engine driver! We had a great welcome from the keyholder, Martin, who also helped to arrange our transport back to the airport. The market next to the apartment was worth the visit. We will definitely be back!

The accommodation is in a great location near to, but not on top of, shops, supermarkets, restaurants and other facilities. Only 15 minutes transfer from the airport - It feels safe and has a fabulous private pool which offers a perfect respite for a lazy restful break. There was a market with the most amazing fruit and veg on the street outside on a Thursday morning and a great Italian restaurant 10 minutes walk away. It's is the second time we have been and love it - we'll be back!!

The property was excellent, it was exactly what we were looking for. The apartment had all the necessary facilities required to have a comfortable stay. The outside area was private and secure. Having our own pool was great. We couldn't have asked for more. Gran Alacant is only 10 minutes from the airport so you spend less time travelling from the airport to the resort. The area had all the amenities, the shop was a minutes walk away and was well stocked with local and international brands. There was a market on a Thursday which was right next to the apartment. There were plenty of restaurants to choose from with various cuisines within easy walking distance. The key holder was extremely helpful and friendly and gave us information about the area when we arrived. Alicante Holiday Villas were extremely professional throughout the whole booking process, everything was processed efficiently and promptly. I will definitely be booking with them again and I have recommended property 512 to family and friends.

What an amazing holiday. It's a shame that these days you don't really expect good customer service or to receive everything you expected but we have been very pleasantly surprised. 'Perfect' is the only word to describe the holiday and the service we received. Firstly the website was accurate and honest with excellent photos that give a true impression of the property. Booking the holiday was easy and friendly with excellent customer care. When we arrived in Alicante the key holder was extremely friendly and helpful and the apartment was everything we had hoped for. The accommodation was fantastic with a lovely garden and an excellent private pool. As we have a 1 year old daughter we were looking for certain things from the holiday including convenience and comfort. The supermarket is about 100 yards down the road, restaurants 200 yards and beach just down the hill or a short bus ride. There is also a weekly market every Thursday right outside the front door. The satellite TV meant that we were able to watch all UK TV once the little one was in bed and the sun had gone down. We will book again, no question!

This is a lovely apartment in a secluded garden setting that sets it apart from many others. The pool was cold during our stay in late October but still adds a great feature to the garden. Gran Alacant is close enough to the airport to take a taxi and the local bus service to both Alicante and Santa Pola is efficient and cheap. It is ideal for a restful break and a place to chill. Thanks for the refund it was a great stay and Martin was an excellent keyholder.

The villa was just as described on the website, very well equipped and in the centre of the community. We loved having the choice of places to eat alfresco! It was nice not to have to walk too far in the heat for shops/restaurants and amenities. The pool was a real bonus - large and deep enough for teenage children to enjoy. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would highly recommend Alicante Holiday Villas.

We were very happy with the apartment and the location - close to all amenities and on a regular bus route into Alicante. The keyholders went beyond the call of duty for us - very, very nice people and helpful. Our son was taken ill and we had quite a wait for a bus to take us home, so the keyholder very kindly came and collected us. He also drove us back to the airport, which was very lovely. It was a very enjoyable holiday.

We really enjoyed the beautiful garden with the pool. The sun and the beach were wonderful, but as we are a very active family, we spend many days visiting different places. We missed some more picturesque small villages compared to Italy - but the lovely residence made it a good holiday anyway. If the purpose with the holiday is only sun and beach we will strongly recommend both Alicante Holiday Villas - and especially the residence.

The whole booking process was so easy and the gentleman I spoke to was really helpful. Were met at the airport by Hazel and Barry. What fab people! Before taking us to the apartment, they took us on a mini tour of the area. Without this we would never have known about several good places to eat. We managed to lock ourselves out of the apartment. Poor Hazel walked in the midday sun to let us back in. Been back 2 days and received an e-mail to say that our deposit has been refunded. So prompt. So thanks to all for a fab holiday and will definitely be booking again for next year. Would you recommend the property to friends & family? No - purely because we want to keep it as our secret getaway! !
