The house was fine just 10-15 min from airport by taxi. When we arrived at night the price was approx 22 Euros. We thought it was a fair price. A quiet neighborhood, we had Spanish neighbours who were willing to help us when we we had some questions. We bought a trolley for when we were shopping. We have given it to the house. A lovely relaxing holiday.

We are really pleased with how clean the villa was when we arrived. It rained over night a couple of times, making the balconies sandy and dirty, which was easily cleaned away with a quick brush or mop ( sometimes both) but we expected this, especially being so close to the beach, so no problem at all. It is a nice floor inside and outside the villa making easy to keep clean. We found the road train runs on the hour every day between 10 & 13:00, and between 16:00 & 23:00, which goes to the beach, and supermarkets – the Mercadona is the largest but the Unide supermarket is adequate for every day items such as biscuits, meats etc. We found a very local shop which is part of a chain, the café is in the front to the right of the small Chinese shop selling deck chairs and household items, etc. The little shop sells milk, some cold meats, cheese, pizzas, water, beers and soft drinks just a few minutes walk from the villa. Best restaurants –  the Indian restaurant  Dream Corner and Nankin II Chinese. The Dragon II was also nice. Views were perfect. The beaches – we visited Alicante beach (Postiguet) which was pleasant but we found the local beach more accomodating for our needs. We recommend going to Alicante at night as they have street markets along the promenade, and the castle looks beautiful all lit up from street level. I found Martin the keyholder very hospitable, and easy to talk with. A very nice person. Thank you to everyone for helping us have a really good holiday.

Very nice house, well equipped, with a sea view, located in a quiet area, perfect for families with children. The swimming pool is a little small but most of the time we were alone there, so it was not a problem.

From the minute I Googled 'places to stay in Alicante' and fired off an email to Alicante Holiday Villas I have had nothing but excellent customer service. A quick reply and I was booked up and reading all the things we could get up to on their informative website. Further to that, Mark answered (many) questions and made great suggestions for eating and drinking. I felt I had a real feel for Gran Alacant before we arrived. A few weeks before we had some unforeseen circumstances at home but this was not a problem with possible changes to the booking. We were met by the lovely Martin who answered additional questions and sorted out the vital six seater cab that we took to Alicante a couple of times during the stay. We will definitely be back and just wished we could have stayed for longer, thank you for a truly memorable holiday.

We would definitely book with Alicante Holiday Villas again; everyone we dealt with was very helpful and friendly. Gran Alacant is a lovely family friendly location with enough amenities but without the hustle and bustle of the larger resorts. Good shopping centre with plenty of supermarkets and a local market on Thursdays which was very good. Beach was lovely. The keyholders for the property were great and really helpful. The property had amazing views across Alicante bay from the balcony and the two double bedrooms. There was plenty of space, 7 of us stayed for a week and we were very comfortable. Lots of restaurants and a few shops within easy walking distance. Overall a great holiday. Thank you Alicante Holiday Villas.

Booking with Alicante Holiday Villas was a great experience. The booking process was simple and the keyholders were very helpful and welcoming. This property was a bit far from the beach but it never became an issue, just ended up being a good 20 minute workout to and from the beach! The property was in a very quiet, nice area near restaurants and a convenience store which ended up being extremely helpful. The house was very clean and spacious for the most part. I would consider booking with Alicante Holiday Villas in the future. We had a great trip!

Thanks to Martin and Mark for making our stay so comfortable and hassle free. The house is lovely and was worth staying in for the sea views alone. The area is quiet but you can bus it anywhere. There's a short but steep walk to the sea - don't worry you will get used to it! I would recommend Alicante Holiday Villas to anyone.

Everything went smoothly and we had a very enjoyable time. Website very clear and helpful, booking easy. Pleasant atmosphere in Gran Alacant with magnificent views of the landscape and Mediterranean. Though catering well for tourists, it was nice to hear so much Spanish spoken. The hill walk from the beach was a bit of a tester!

This house has a lovely 'homely' feel with views you could take in all day. A very convenient location with eating places just round the corner if you don't want to go far. The key holder, Mark, was really helpful and gave us lots of information about the area. Carabassi beach is great - we walked down and back, which is steep but there is a road train you can hop on. We would certainly return to this house. I was pleasantly surprised at the environment in Gran Alacant and just how peaceful and relaxed it felt, and the residents that we met seemed really friendly. I think we'll be back quite a lot!!.

The villa has a stunning view which really made each morning start with smile. I'm glad we hired cars as it is up a large hill and quite far from a main supermarket. The beach is at the bottom of the hill and trust me, its a long walk when its hot!! Though I'd say the hill is worth it for the view. The weather was beautiful all week and the beach was clean with generally clean waters. Everyone had a brilliant time.
