The quality of service I received was very good from beginning to end. The location was great, with the swimming pool close by, and very central for buses, bars, restaurants and shops. The keyholder was really helpful, was there to meet us on our arrival and kindly allowed us some flexibility with our departure time on our final day. In addition I was very impressed with their speedy reaction after I asked them to check for something I had left in the property. Mark from Alicante Holiday Villas was equally impressive in swiftly posting the item back to me. They were both a great help, keeping me updated. Thanks very much.

This was an excellent property for a family we had everything that we needed for a great holiday. The property was situated in a lovely area and the facilities offered were excellent. The property manager was there to meet us and showed us around - she was also very helpful when we had a problem. We would recommend this property and would book it again though Alicante Holiday Villas.

The villa was lovely, with all the facilities and equipment required for the freedom of self catering. Overall the holiday was fantastic as previous years. We love Gran Alacant for a quiet relaxing break, and we will continue to return.

Lovely clean villa. Three spacious bedrooms all with air con which was greatly appreciated! Three toilets and showers so handy for a family of 4. Loved sitting out on the rooftop terrace to catch the sun and look out over the mountains! Well equipped kitchen and comfortable dining and living area. Great location for shared pool - about 5 minutes walk away and ideally situated for a range of restaurants and shops in two separate areas. Not far from bus stop for road train and buses to Alicante and Santa Pola. Helpful, friendly key-holders at both arrival and departure. Will definitely book again!

We were originally booked into a town house with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, but were generously upgraded before departure when the first property suffered extensive water damage. Martin, the manager, called to meet us on arrival, and a few days later came quickly to the rescue when we had a problem with the oven and the shower curtain rail! We certainly cannot fault the service. The villa was clean, cool, spacious and very well equipped. Nearby, we found an English cafe, a few bars, shops, restaurants and a local supermarket - all within easy walking distance - but we were glad of our hire car for visits to many other places of interest: Santa Pola, Alicante, Torrevieja and Elche, with its parks full of palm trees. A most enjoyable week.

Overall, we were happy with this property. The swimming pool is only a few seconds walk away and beautifully clean and maintained. Bus stops to Santa Pola and Alicante again less than 5 minutes walk from the property. The property contained everything we needed for our stay. Lots of coach trips were available and would recommend the day trip to Altea and Calpe.

We have just come back from this villa which was beautiful it was very well equipped with everything you could possibly need. From start of booking to finishing our holiday nearly everything went perfect. The pool area was very clean and it was great to have adult only times. I booked villa through Alicante Holiday Villas and will hopefully use again if we go back to Gran Alacant their service was first class. There are plenty of restaurants near Altomar 1, although we used the tourist train to go to Commercial Centre on a number of occasions which cost 3 euros round trip for adults, here you can find a good selection of restaurants and a play area for children. We visited Alicante and Santa Pola which cost 1.50 euro each way good value for money.

The property was excellent on quiet street, we liked the open bright feel to the property very cool, we did not need to use the air con units. The kitchen was very big and had everything you would need. The swimming pool was less than 5 minutes away and the pool & grounds were looked after very well, bonus of adult only between 9 and 10am for a quiet swim. Supermarket, shops, bars & restaurants are 5 minutes walk away or you can use the land train to get to the commercial centre which has 2 good Chinese restaurants and many others. We used the local buses to get into Santa Pola & Alicante, well worth going to both. We would like to say a big thank you to Mark & Martin the key holders for resolving an issue we had with the hot water, which was resolved on the same day, really nice guys made us feel like friends.

We had a fantastic 2 week break in the Alicante Holiday Villas accommodation. Our 2 kids really enjoyed the pool and football and tennis court area. The swimming pool was really safe and had a full time lifeguard. The accommodation and gated secured swimming facilities were very clean and well presented. The rooftop and BBQ area was great for evening get togethers. We all had a super time and would come back again.

Lovely 3 bedroom villa, bright & airy with a large living room & kitchen, which was great with 6 of my family in one villa, it did't feel like we were under one another's feet at all. The roof terrace was lovely and the villa had everything we needed, really was like home from home. The pool area was gorgeous but we especially loved the beach. We visited Santa Pola which is only 10 minutes away by car or a little longer by bus and a trip to Alicante town is a definite. So much to see and do and only 10 minutes away from the airport. The restaurants around the villa were great, we would definitely recommend Tuttis and the Chinese restaurant was fantastic! Both have a lovely park opposite to keep the children entertained. The mini train which takes you all around Gran Alacant is a must with children, everyone waves to you as you go along and they love it. Thank you for letting us use the villa, we had a fantastic time.

Excellent villa in a good location easy walking distance to restaurants, shops and the swimming pool. Rick from the property management team was very helpful. The weather in October was fantastic and everything was open. Lovely beaches and the sea was a lot warmer than we expected.

Great property for a family. We loved the communal pool and my boys loved the football area. The television showing English channels was good and the Wi-Fi worked well. Air conditioning in bedrooms was excellent and overall had a great time.

The house was very nice, and in a good condition. We had a wonderful holiday. The distance to the supermarket and beach was as described. We didn't hire a car, and everything was easy to reach by bus or by foot.

Had a fantastic holiday with thanks to Alicante Holiday Villas. The villa was very nice indeed, spacious and great location - close to the pool, shops, restaurants and beach. The tourist land train and bus is about a 3 minute walk away - the bus here will take you into Santa Pola (a very beautiful town - that provides a great boat trip to island Tarabaca - very, very good value trip and a beautiful island indeed). The bus also runs into Alicante- this again is great value - however the returning bus can take a while 30 - 45 mins. The land train is fab - great fun for kids (young and old.!) it runs down to the beach and then to Gran Alacant commercial centre - this area has many restaurants and activity centre for the children with pool tables, trampolines and high flying trampoline. I would recommend, if you do not hire a car, to purchase a shopping bag on wheels. They are around 5-8 euros and will be a God send, as the supermarket is only a 5 minute walk away, but in the 30+ degree temps being able to pull the shopping and water home is much easier. The markets are also great; they run weekly in both Gran Alacant, Santa Pola and Benidorm. Had a really nice stay, and will be returning soon.

The area is excellent. Pool easily accessible, beautiful and very clean and in fabulous gardens with palm trees for shade. Very safe, with lifeguard on duty, however do note that it closes for siesta between 3 and 5 and no blow-up rings etc allowed (except noodles). Adults only for first hour in morning and last hour at night. For eating out there is an amazing Asian restaurant (Asiatica) within walking distance as are a couple of well stocked Maxcoop supermarkets. There is a little internet bar nearby (30 cents for 30 minutes, all with webcams) with beer or tea for 1 Euro and Tutti's bar/restaurant for meals and snacks. However for eating out we mainly went to Santa Pola (by bus - €1.30 per person) or to Gran Alacant commercial centre by Tourist train (last train runs at midnight). The bus/train stop is literally several minutes walk from house and you can get to Alicante city from there too. You don't need a car however rental for a couple of days may be desired if you wish to explore the wider area. We felt very safe there, even at night, very much a family and couples location in a residential setting. A final word on the tourist train. It was such fun for children and adults alike. The drivers in their Casey Jones outfits (for all those of a certain age) have a great sense of fun, and with music playing and with the warm breeze it was very much at times a party atmosphere and the kids loved the free lollies.

We love the place and the area. We were very satisfied with the property and everything around. Especially we liked the top of the roof, sitting there in the evening, having a barbecue. We would like to come back and maybe buy a property in the future in Gran Alacant.
