Alicante-Elche airport will shortly be offering a new 130sqm terrace with “privileged” views to the aircrafts and the runway for take-off and landing.

AENA, who run the Spanish airport, have said that this first and only terrace with views of the airport at Alicante-Elche will be part of a local “sports bar/pub” of 317sqm on the corner of the boarding area of the terminal building.
The terrace will become the only airside point suitable for smokers in the airport which carries some 14 million passengers per year, making it the 5th largest in Spain after Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas, Barcelona-El Prat, Palma and Malaga-Costa del Sol.
AENA have said the terrace will have spectacular views of the manoeuvres of landing and take-off of aircraft, with the sea in the background, adding to the traveller’s flying experience whilst enjoying the outdoors and the good weather of Alicante whilst waiting to fly.
