Today is the start of the annual Moors and Christians Fiesta in the San Blas area of Alicante which runs until 18th July 2016.
The programme of events is as follows :

23.00 Parade.
Route: Starts at the Castle and goes along Calles San Juan Bautista, Pintor Gisbert, Plaza General Mancha and Condes de Soto Ameno before ending back at the Castle.
San Blas Alicante Moors And Christians – Friday 15th July 2016
20.00 Parade for the 4th Band Competition.
Route: Travels along Calles Pintor Gisbert, Plaza General Mancha and Condes de Soto Ameno before ending at the Castle.
23.00 Night Parade

08.00 Early morning parade with music bands from the Castle
20.00 Grand Entrance of the Christians
