Cinemacar In Alicante
CINEMACAR opens to the public on 11th June 2020 in the Rabasa area of Alicante and is hailed as new concept of drive-in cinema with more than 45,000sqm of facilities dedicated to cinema, gastronomy and live music.
Cinemacar will have the capacity for more than 400 cars and will boast the biggest screen in Europe, located on a huge structure of 500sqm which can be seen throughout the enclosure. It is the only drive-in cinema in Spain that has completely asphalted pavement, which means it can be disinfected daily. Nando Coderch, CEO and founder of Cinemacar said:
“Cinemacar updates the concept of drive-in we all know, a new offer of entertainment and leisure that takes into account the musical, cinematographic and restoration culture, with the highest standards of design, quality and comfort. Cinemacar – Features
In addition to the huge parking area, Cinemacar will also have a gastronomic area, a green space that allows to watch the cinema outdoors keeping the social distance and boxes with capacity for six people. And users can take their pets at no additional cost as 3,000sqm park has been designed within the facilities.
Cinemacar Alicante – Restaurants
The gastronomic offer is wide, with Mexican food stalls, hamburgers, pizzerias and breweries, which will invite you to enjoy a bite, before, during or after each movie. In addition, whilst dining, you can make use of the two large terraces with views of the screen, decorated with palm trees, retro lighting, vegetation, artificial grass and tables.
Cinemacar Alicante – Live Music
A stage for which there are already scheduled events, which are scheduled to start this June 11th with the music of the Alicante DJ Puye, at 7:00 p.m. and the screening of the movie Midway at 9:30 p.m. On June 12th it will be the turn, at the same time, for Álex Selas and the movie Sonic . The next day, Jes Set and Nunatak will take the stage, followed by Fast & Furious film and so on.
Cinemacar – Covid 19
Management assure that the enclosure and facilities will be disinfected every day, as will vehicles that enter it, and there will be refreshment stalls isolated with transparent PVC canvases along with spacious common areas to guarantee the recommended social distance. Users and workers will have to enter disinfection booths and have their temperature checked. To avoid queues at the state-of-the-art toilets, they will be connected to a network and feature an indicative LED lighting system that can be seen from anywhere on the premises to let people know when the toilet is disinfected and ready for use. Finally, the boxes are limited in capacity and have hydrogel dispensers and isolation partitions.
