Covid-19 cases are continuing their steep decline here in the Valencian Community with just 144 new cases reported today.
This is 77 less than a week ago and 79 fewer than yesterday according to the Regional Health Ministry. The Valencian Community has the lowest infection rates in the whole of Spain with just 39.03 cases per 100,000 people. Spain as a whole is trying to reach the 50 cases per 100,000 and therefore anything below that figure is considered ‘low risk’ for Covid-19.
Death rates for today stand at just 15 cases with the pandemic total figure for the Valencian Community standing at 7,025 in total.
Hospital admissions are dropping with just 533 in the Valencian Community – a drop of over 175 compared to the previous week with just 149 patients in ICU.
