Holiday Spending Money In Spain

ABTA are advising holidaymakers travelling to Spain to change their holiday spending money at the very last minute.

Sean Tipton from ABTA explained that, whilst, exchange rates are always unpredictable, the Euro is expected to weaken during 2011, so it would make more sense for Brits holidaying to villas in Spain to leave exchanging their holiday spending money into Euros just before they leave for Spain – spelling good news for British travellers.

Recent Holiday Spending Money survey

These comments come after a recent travelsupermarket.com survey found most British people are planning at least one main holiday this year. Research shows that the traditional 7 or 14 night family holiday to Spain may soon prove a thing of the past, as people opt for shorter, but more frequent holidays to Spain.

With money being tighter, holidaymakers are also looking for value for money and renting a holiday villa in Alicante definitely does that!
