Masks To Be Worn On Spanish Beaches Or Not?

The Valencian Government proposes the exemption of masks if a 2m distance is kept.

The President of the Valencian Community, Ximo Puig, has assured residents that he believes that on the beach with a 2m distance masks are NOT necessary.

In this regard, the Minister of Universal Health and Public Health, Ana Barceló, will participate next Wednesday 7th April in a meeting of the Interterritorial Council of the National Health System called by the Ministry of Health and chaired by Minister Carolina Darias.  At the meeting, in which the new regulations for the use of the mask throughout the national territory will be addressed, Barceló will discuss that the Valencian Community will make contributions to the ‘New Normality Law’ so that the use of the mask on the beach for the summer season will not be mandatory.
