Ireland’s first ever direct ferry route to Spain will officially set sail this weekend.
The brand new Brittany Ferries journey from Cork to Santander is a non-stop trip, which drops off passengers in the heart of the northern Spanish coastal city. The first trip will depart on Sunday May 6, which will mark the first link between the two countries. Crossings will take anything between 24 to 33 hours depending on the weather. Return tickets will cost upwards of €211 per person for a car, including four passengers sharing a four-berth cabin.
