Pictures have been released of the inside of the new terminal building at Alicante El Altet, which is due to open on the night of 23rd/24th of March.

These come as staff from the British Consulate in Alicante recently visited the new Alicante El Altet airport terminal and were very happy with what they saw, in particular they are aware how important airport security is, especially in the arrivals area and they were therefore pleased to see how the designers of the new Terminal at Alicante El Altet Airport had made the safety and security of passengers a key focus in both the building and parking areas.

The new terminal building at Alicante El Altet Airport will have a total area of 333,500 m2, with 96 check in desks and 26 departure gates. In addition there will be parking for just over 4,000 vehicles. Which is great news as, figures just released, show that in February passenger traffic grew by 3.5% at Alicante El Altet Airport with just over 500,000 people using the airport.
