The recent Travel Trends Tracker survey by TravelSupermarket.com also reveals that holidaymakers are searching for holidays in 2012 that will offer value for money – and many consider renting a Spanish holiday villa offers better value than staying in an hotel.

More than 90% of the people surveyed also said that the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, London’s Summer Olympics and the European Football Championship will make no difference to their plans for their 2012 holiday.
