According to a recent survey by ABTA, which were released at the beginning of the Travel Convention in Palma, Spain is still the number 1 family friendly holiday destination for Brits.

Customers were asked as to which country they thought to be the most family friendly with regard to holidays, and nearly 20% voted for Spain.

Spain is most popular with the 35-44 year old age group in the survey of more than 2,000 consumers. ABTA’s Chief Executive Mark Tanzer said: “For many years Spain has been the UK’s favourite overseas holiday destination. Some of the main reasons for this are the amazing welcome and facilities that Spain and its people offer to families.”

The Director of the Spanish Tourist office stated that he is thrilled to discover that, even during these difficult times, British families are still continuing to see Spain as their favourite holiday location.
