A recent survey by travel search engine KAYAK assessed the costs of a holiday for the top 10 most searched for destinations.
Spain Is The Second Best Value Holiday Destination In The World
Recently, travel experts at Kayak calculated the total cost of your summer holiday including everything from flights to drinks – and revealed the best value destination to be Bangkok in Thailand. At just £838pw including hotels, flights, and a tour of the city, Bangkok was the cheapest of holidaymakers most popular holiday destinations. But, closer to home, Alicante came out as the 2nd best value with a total of £880 for a week. Kayak took into account the average costs for return flights, a one week stay in a 3* hotel, car hire for a week, meals, a city or museum tour, 3 cocktails, as well as a novelty souvenir!
