According to travel association ABTA, Spain can expect to see an increase in visitors renting Spanish holiday villas in 2011 as the strengthening pound makes Spain appealing again for Spanish holiday villa rental.
Villa Rental In Spain
Sean Tipton, a spokesman for the organisation, explained that Spain is still highly thought of by British tourists looking for a villa rental in Spain. “Spain is still our No 1 most popular destination and with all these factors it should have a good year in 2011,” he said. Also, Jeremy Cook, Chief Economist at foreign exchange brokers World First, predicts that the Euro will stay weak in 2011, meaning people booking Spanish villa holidays in 2011 will see their money go further. He added that the ongoing economic issues in Spain are creating uncertainty which will keep the Euro low.
