Alicante becomes Wizz Air’s 5th Spanish destination from Budapest alongwith Barcelona, Madrird, Malaga and Palma de Mallorca – a total of 20 weekly operations. Wizz Air’s Chief Operating Officer Kam Jandu, said “The new Wizz Air service to Alicante fills a real customer demand and whilst the South East region of Spain has always been a well-travelled destination for Northern Europe, given a lack of flight connections in the past, it is not a traditional holiday market for Hungary, so we’re excited to see how it performs.” “With Madrid and Barcelona already available with Wizz Air all year round we are sure that Alicante will be a hit this season with tourists.”
