Had a lovely 5 night stay in this villa between Christmas and the New Year. It really suited our needs as it has 2 bedrooms downstairs and the beds are very comfortable. The weather was nice even at this time of year and we had lunch outside most days. The villa is situated about 5 minutes walk from Aldi and restaurants are about 10/15 mins walk away. We would definitely stay here again.

The villa was large with a massive pool. Not far from shops and bars and on a bus and local Tourist Train route in an excellent area with holidaymakers mixed in with locals.  The area was great, a 10 to 15 minute walk to shops, bars, restaurants, fuel, pharmacy and more. The beach was a 20 minute walk - lovely beach with café and bars. Alicante about 20 minutes away, Benidorm about an hour and lovely Santa Pola only 10 minutes drive. Perfect place to unwind. We went in early October and the weather was in the late 20s. Would highly recommend Alicante Holiday Villas, when we dropped off by taxi at the wrong address, the Property Manager drove straight round to help. She took the bags and us to the correct address and she also had cheap taxi options too.

We’re just back from our holiday in the beautiful Gran Alacant villa and we miss it already! The villa was beautiful, clean, spacious and the pool was second to none! We spent so much time and had so much fun in the pool and the outdoor space. We watched the sun rise in the mornings from the amazing roof terrace which was beautiful.  The area was brilliant and within easy walking distance to restaurants, shops and the beach. We would 100% book this villa or another villa with Alicante Holiday Villas.

This stunning villa is centrally positioned for access to all shops, bars and eating places with Aldi literally a 5 minutes stroll away. The beach is only a short bus ride on the number 15 bus. The pool area in this villa is simply superb with a larger than average sized pool and plenty of sunbeds, chairs, tables etc. The kitchen is well equipped and the good sized bedrooms all have comfortable beds. We have been booking through Mark and the team for many years now and wouldn't go anywhere else. The booking process is simple and the communication from the first contact is excellent. We had a lovely 5 week holiday at the villa. The booking and payment process was easy and Mark at Alicante Holiday Villas  communicated very well. Impressed that we had our deposit returned within 24 hours with no hassle. The key holder was very helpful. The pool definitely makes this villa, a lovely size that you can actually have a good swim in. The kitchen is very well equipped and the villa is situated about a 10 minute walk to various restaurants and shopping centre, the beach a 20 minute walk, Gabe Market that sells everything non food a 400m walk and Aldi 500m. Overall a very nice villa and we would stay there again if we were in Gran Alacant.

Our second time staying at this property and our experience was just as good as the first time. Using Alicante Holiday Villas is a pleasure from start to finish. They really do offer a first class service. The property is spacious, and the outside space is perfect for use all day, every day. The location of the new Aldi supermarket so close makes things even easier. Everything is in place to have a relaxing stay here.

As usual Mark was great during and after booking. Always really helpful and reliable. On the Saturday night there was no hot water but a quick text to Julie and an engineer was there within 20 minutes and sorted out the problem. Fantastic service. Great villa and pool and easy walking distance to shops and restaurants. This is our third visit to this villa. Just a little niggle- we had kids this time and would be good to have a hoover for the crumbs they made!!

Just returned from a wonderful 7 day break in Gran Alacant, we had a fabulous time! Villa was immaculate, Julie and Jim were lovely. Mark has been so helpful all the way from start to finish. Pool was cold, however in November everyone’s pool is, but the kids still loved it! The villa itself is so big -  we loved every minute of it! 10/15 mins walk to amenities. Some lovely restaurants and bars around. Overall stay was amazing!! The weather was superb! We will definitely be recommending Alicante Holiday Villas.

With only a 8-10 minute walk to the shops, bars and restaurants, it was in a perfect location at the end of a cul-de-sac, so was quiet during the day too. Third time in Gran Alacant and three different villas, all with Alicante Holiday Villas. Not been dissapointed with any of them. Gran Alacant will not dissapoint if you want a quiet, relaxing get away from it all holiday. Whereever you stay there will always be bars that do get lively at night and good places to eat for very reasonable prices. Beach is close by. Gran Alacant is hilly in places but there are always taxis on hand to get around or the road train. Perfect for family hols if you just want to chill, play about in the pool, eat and drink. Happy days. Alicante Holiday Villas very good to deal with had no problems and been very professional.Good to have a representative when you arrive to give you advice if needed.

The villa is about 20 - 30 minutes walk to the supermarkets and beach. The local taxi services are fantastic though. Nice restaurants in Gran Alicant Centro Commercial. Wonderful meal and service in King Pizza that does an extensive menu as well as pizza. The keyholders are very helpful and easily approachable.

We had an amazing time March 2018. The weather was perfect, we got a lovely tan in the week we were there. The villa was spotless and equipped for us all. The pool was clean and we enjoyed a BBQ around it. Please go to this lovely villa spend a lot of time there too. It’s the perfect holiday to relax and have time with your family. The beach is a short drive or 20 minute walk away. The bars and restaurants are wonderful, we can recommend the Indian in the square (Azafran) and Vistabella for lovely food. We highly recommend using Alicante Holiday Villas. Wonderful service and we definitely would return. Thank you for a wonderful holiday just magical.

There were 5 of us for a long weekend. Villa was fantastic. Well stocked kitchen with everything you need. Communication from Alicante Holiday Villas was great and responded really quickly to my enquiry. Great supermarkets within easy walking distance as well as a beautiful beach. Julie and Jim (property managers) were extremely helpful and Jim even gave us a lift to the supermarket on our first day. They couldn't have done anymore to make us feel welcome. Good to have directions for everywhere as Jim and Julie stay close by. Beautiful villa with sunshine in March and a glass of wine by the pool.....what more do you need.

The villa had everything we needed and more, short drive from airport, great contact with Julie and Jim (keyholders), facilities within the villa all great, pool amazing, warm and a welcome relief from the very hot temperatures!! The storage box by the pool had many inflatables and toys, nice touch. The shaded veranda was a great place to relax and read many of the books within the villa. We had a hire car which was useful for the heavy shopping (beers, wine, water). The shops were within walking distance and the shopping trolley in the villa was used on many occasions, we found Consum the better shop. Beach was a short drive, but you can catch the land train and it is worth the trip, especially when the waves are big, so much fun.

The villa was in a quiet neighbourhood and although the neighbours were quite close we didn't hear a peep from them. The villa was within easy walking distance from large supermarkets and the shopping trolley was a real plus instead of carrying groceries. Again within walking distance there was the shopping centre with various restaurants and cafes - would highly recommended the Mexican. If you turn right as you exit the villa there is another group of restaurants - would highly recommend the Dutch restaurant. The last night we ordered fish and chips and I would highly recommend the home made fish fingers! The beach was within walking distance but the road train which only cost 3 € for a day pass might be easier if you have small children or very elderly. The pool at the villa was fabulous - a little cool, but it was May.It was deep enough to dive and they had a selection of inflatables - this is where we spent most of our day.The evenings were spent on the front porch which could be closed off when cool or windy. Julie and Jim the property managers couldn't have been more helpful with advice on how to get from the airport, shops and with restaurant recommendations. Great villa in great location - can't wait to go back.

It was easy to book and pay for the stay. The house and the pool were as we had imagined. It was very clean and well maintained throughout. All in all, we had a really good experience.

A PARKER - September 2016
Five of us stayed here for 11 days in September. The accommodation is of a very high standard and well equipped, There are lots of books and a few DVDs, probably better bringing your own. A quiet location, about equidistant between the two principal restaurant area, about 15-20 mins walk. The outside area is lovely, with plenty of sunbathing room and a large pool. A car is helpful, but with the land train you can get by without one, the beach is about 30 minute walk, although the land train will get you there. Plenty of room for alfresco dining with a large table and plenty of umbrellas. The front porch ( library corner) is a great place to sit and read in the heat of the day.The BBQ was also well used. The air-con was a godsend, we had a mini heatwave, and cooling all three bedrooms at night and the large lounge in the evening only cost £4 a day. The beach was great, Life Club is a bit pricey, but the Blue Monkey just along the beach is much friendlier - beware the cocktails - very, very generous measures! We tried the snorkel safari - brilliant and paragliding - parapente - also brilliant. Julie, the local contact was very helpful, and we ordered the welcome pack which made the first day much easier with no need to go to the shops. We're already planning a return trip.

We booked this property for one week. We are a family of six. The location was great, we did not rent a car and the beach/restaurants/shops was in walking distance. Quiet and beautiful surroundings. We will come back! I recommend Gran Alacant, easy to access from airport or to Alicante/Santa Pola with bus/taxi.

Fantastic villa with excellent, very clean facilities throughout. The garden had beautiful lemon trees and lovely flowers. The pool area was very impressive and we all enjoyed swimming in the fabulous pool. Great to have a welcome pack on arrival with all the essentials you need to start the holiday. The villa was very near to the beach, shops and restaurants and also only a short bus trip away to Alicante. We look forward to staying in Gran Alacant again!

The owners of the villa we rented added lots of extras such as children’s games and puzzles, washing up liquid, loo rolls, pool inflatables etc. The villa was very clean and a good quality. The lounge TV had lots of English channels. The villa is in a quiet area so very low noise levels and yet very easy and flat walking distance to the shopping centre. The shopping centre had so much more than we expected with bars, restaurants, four supermarkets as well as other independent shops. The keyholders Julie and Jim Shaw were excellent, not only did they provide a taxi service to and from the airport but they also popped in during our stay to check how we were as my son was travel sick on the first night. They were so informative and friendly – it was very reassuring having people there who were so friendly and helpful. The owners of this villa have pulled out all the stops to give you a great experience with high quality villa and pool. The kitchen was very well equipped with children friendly bowls, plates and glasses.

The villa was spacious and contained all the equipment and appliances you need. It was a real home from home and not just holiday accommodation. It had been spotlessly cleaned by Nick. The gardens and pool area are fantastic with many much needed parasols for shade. The sunbeds were extremely comfortable with comfortable patio furniture for alfresco dining next to the very useful BBQ area. All of which we used almost daily during our stay. The salt water pool was delightful. The air-conditioning was very efficient in allowing for excellent night’s sleep. The owners have put a great deal of time and thought into making this villa an excellent holiday destination. The restaurants we used during our stay had very friendly staff and were not too far away for walking off your dinner on returning to the villa. We found hiring a car during our stay was very beneficial as it allowed us to get the beach and supermarkets in air-conditioning as the weather was excellent and hot during our stay. Would definitely return to this villa again.

This villa was in a word...'unbelievable'!! Spotlessly clean. Beautifully decorated and very well equipped. Remote control air con in each room, and a tv+dvd player in each bed room, also a large flat screen in the living area with English channels. The salt water pool was fabulous, lots of parasols and very comfortable sun loungers. Car hire is recommended as it is a good 15 min walk from the shops and commercial centre where we found a good variety of restaurants and entertainment for the children at night. We thoroughly enjoyed our week in Gran Alacant and hope to be back!
