The programme for the Alicante Easter Parades this year include daily processions from Domingo de Ramos, (Palm Sunday) on the 9th April until Domingo de Resurraccion, (Easter Sunday) on the 16th April 2017.
Easter Parades In Alicante 2017
If you are in Alicante during Easter Week (or Semana Santa) then you really should try and get to see one of the Easter parades in Alicante. As usual, between Palm Sunday and Easter Sunday, there are lots of colourful and incredible parades and all have different starting and finishing points and follow various routes through Alicante. However all the parades pass along the Rambla de Mendez Nunez (the main road up from the Explanada in Alicante) at some point. The best way to enjoy these parades is to spend the morning or evening along the Rambla de Mendez Nunez (perhaps with a beer and tapas at one of the numerous bars and restaurants in the Rambla!) and wait for them. Below are the start times, finish times and the times at which the parade passes along the Rambla.
TIP – The best parades in Alicante to watch are the ‘big’ processions at 11.30 on Palm Sunday, 10.30 on Good Friday and on the morning of Easter Sunday.
