Ryanair has announced yet another route from Ireland to Alicante.
Flights From Shannon To Alicante
From June, Ryanair will fly twice a week from Shannon to Alicante on Wednesdays and Fridays from 5th June until 27th Spetember 2013. Set to target around 40,000 passengers from West Ireland who, until now, have had to fly to Alicante from Dublin or Cork.

Rose Hynes, the chairman of Shannon Airport Authority said that Alicante was “at the top of our list in terms of European sun destinations”. Such was the demand for an Alicante service in the region, she added, she had every confidence the new route would be a success.
